Graphene on toast, anyone?
Rice scientists who introduced laser-induced graphene have enhanced their technique to produce what may become a new class of edible electronics. James Tour, the T.T. and W.F. Chao Chair in Chemistry and a professor of computer science and of materials science and nanoengineering, and graduate student Yieu Chyan are quoted. Co-lead author Ruquan Ye ’15, graduate student Yilun Li and postdoctoral fellow Swantantra Pratap Singh are mentioned.
