Graphene and nanotube carpets for energy storage

Researchers at Rice have made a new hybrid microsupercapacitor from graphene and carbon nanotube carpets with electrochemical properties that could be useful in portable electronics and renewable power applications. Jian Lin, a postdoctoral research associate in mechanical engineering and materials science, is quoted.
